BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a man accused of assaulting a victim and taking her two gold chain necklaces in the parking lot on Ming Avenue.
Police said on January 14, 2026, the suspect approached the victim, assaulted her, and forcibly removed the two gold chain necklaces she was wearing.
It happened in the parking lot of a business in the 2900 block of Ming Avenue, near Highway 99.
The suspect is described as a man, 5’08” tall. He was wearing a black hooded sweater and black jeans.
