A San Pedro Fish Market seafood feast is a crunchy, moist, and lemon-squeezy Southern California classic at any point of the year, but during the season of Lent? The savory ocean eats found at the local restaurants transform into a Friday favorite, with end-of-the-week specials emerging over a few flavorful weeks.

Lent began Feb. 18 meaning Fish Fridays are on the San Pedro Fish Market schedule through Easter.

You can find seafood specials each Friday through April 3 at both The Landing in San Pedro and the location in Long Beach.

Additionally, there are “… select opportunities to win the featured dish through social media giveaways,” so keep tabs on the market’s online feeds.

If you’re a giveaway winner, you’ll find out via Instagram.

“San Pedro Fish Market has been a go-to destination for those observing Lent for the past 70 years,” said Michael Ungaro, CEO of San Pedro Fish Market.

“Fish Fridays are a way of bringing people together by sharing great seafood, quality time and memorable moments with our community, week after week.”

While the Lenten observation of Fish Fridays has been a multi-decade tradition at the restaurant, there are other appetizing reasons the community knows San Pedro Fish Market.

The market is home to the hearty and huge World Famous Shrimp Tray, and, around the holidays, the eateries celebrate the 12 Days of Shrimpmas.

Do keep in mind that Fish Fridays will take place at The Landing at 706 S. Harbor Boulevard in San Pedro and 6550 E. Marina Drive in Long Beach; find out more by visiting San Pedro Fish Market social pages now.
