BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KGET) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking the community to assist in locating two missing at-risk brothers who were last seen Thursday morning.

Daniel Joseph Alvarez, 12, and Joel Christian Alvarez, 11, were last seen in the 3100 block of Coventry Drive at about 7 a.m., according to the police department. Daniel and Joel are considered at-risk due to this being their first time reported as runaways and their ages.

Police describe Daniel Joseph Alvarez as 5 feet, 1 inch tall, weighing about 130 pounds with brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black shirt, unknown color pants and occupying a white bicycle.

Joel Christian Alvarez is described as 4 feet, 9 inches tall, weighing about 100 pounds with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a white shirt, pajama pants and occupying a blue bicycle.
