BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is urging residents to help find a suspect accused of murdering 34-year-old Justin Leon Randle of Bakersfield in June 2025 on H Street.

BPD detectives have identified Salvador Daniel Gutierrez, 24, as a suspect. An arrest warrant has been obtained by police.
Randle was found dead after an alleged assault at around 2:44 a.m. on June 7, 2025, in the 1100 block of H Street. The Kern County coroner determined that Randle’s cause of death was blunt Injuries and the manner was homicide in July 2025.
Guiterrez is described as 5’11” tall with black hair and brown eyes.
Co-defendant Alberto Felix is set to appear on March 6 and faces a murder charge. He pleaded not guilty on Wednesday, court records show.
Felix was charged with homicide back in Dec. 2025.
