FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (FOX26) — The Fresno County Sheriff’s Office says a Fresno man has been arrested in connection with an online child exploitation investigation.

Investigators say they served a search warrant to a home in the area of Mariposa Street and Michigan Avenue Thursday, that was part of an investigation into suspected online child exploitation.

Authorities say detectives received information that 26-year-old Mario Angel Dominguez was engaged in sexually explicit conversations with a minor and had shared inappropriate images with her.

Investigators also say he was attempting to arrange an in-person meeting with the girl for sexual purposes.

His bail is set at $45,000.

The investigation remains active.

Officials say they believe there may be additional victims who have not yet come forward or may be hesitant to report what happened.
