FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The Fresno Police Department has issued the body-worn video from an officer-involved shooting that happened in Fresno.
An encounter in a Fresno alley ended in gunfire after a suspect shot at a Fresno Police Department officer, striking the officer’s department baseball cap.
The shooting happened on December 7th at about 6:45 p.m. near the intersection of Clinton Avenue and West Avenue.

The officer contacted a suspicious person in an alley, and during the encounter, the suspect struggled with the officer, then pulled out a firearm and shot at the officer once, hitting the cap the officer was wearing.
An officer-involved shooting followed, with two Fresno police officers firing their duty weapons.
The suspect, later identified as 41-year-old Bradley Nicholson, was shot once in the upper body.
Nicholson was taken to Community Regional Medical Center, where he was listed in critical but stable condition.
Neither of the involved officers was injured.
Police said Nicholson is on Post Supervised Community Supervision for burglary and had a felony warrant issued in September 2025.

He remains in custody while receiving treatment at Community Regional Medical Center and will be booked into the Fresno County Jail upon his release from the hospital.
