While spiders are very much associated with circular sights, specifically the splendid webs they weave in the later part of summer, there are some round things that aren’t really within the realm of the arachnid kingdom.
Certain sweets with a circle shape spring to mind, including that kind of the morning monch, and monches that happen throughout the day, the doughnut
Still, it makes sense to feature a friendly spider atop the circular confection, especially if that critter has an Oreo at its center.
If you’ve got a bug aficionado in your house who has been bugging you for more goodies of a non-candy nature this Halloween season, look to Randy’s Donuts and its new spider-themed offering.
It’s one of two doughnuts on the shelves at your local Randy’s this October, along with a goodie that is covered in sprinkles that boast the hues of autumn (those would be a bright blue-purple and orange, a combo that instantly summons the frightful fun of the holiday).
Don’t delay, though, if you want a spider-topped sweet: These limited-time doughnuts will scurry away after the Halloween season has finished casting its web.
Keep in mind that the fanciful fall treats aren’t available at LAX location, and this is most definitely a “while supplies last” offer.
The Spider Donut is $4.20 at select locations; check with your local Randy’s for prices.
