The Pleasant Valley Jr. Vikings took home first place in the nation and the cheer team from Orland finished second at the cheerleading event.


ANAHEIM, Calif. – The Pleasant Valley Jr. Vikings cheer team last weekend took home first place in the USA Spirit Nationals event that was held in Anaheim.

The event, held at the Anaheim Convention Center, featured cheer teams from junior high and high schools competing for top honors in the nation.

Christy Dolz reached out to Action News Now on Friday about the event and shared the results.

The Orland cheer team, who also competed in the event, took home second place.
