BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The final week of February, already warm across Kern County, will close out the month with the highest temperatures yet as Saturday is forecast to be the crescendo as far as South Valley temps go.
According to the latest data coming hot off the models Bakersfield could push (or even exceed) 80 during the warmest part of the day.
It will not rain on Bakersfield’s Black American History Parade and if anything you may want to seek out shade as plenty of sunshine will combine with that spring-like warmth during the afternoon.
Remember, thermometers are meant to get their readings out of the direct sunlight, so factor that in with the understanding that the heat will be on under the sun.
Have a wonderful weekend!
