Police say they’re investigating a shooting in North Long Beach that left a teen boy hospitalized early Saturday morning.
Long Beach police say the teen was driving near Atlantic Avenue and Artesia Boulevard around 2:06 a.m. Saturday when an unknown person in another vehicle shot him.
The teen took himself to a local hospital, where he was treated for multiple gunshot wounds to his upper body, according to authorities. His wounds were not considered life-threatening, police said.
LBPD officers found a crime scene, and detectives responded, according to police.
The motive for the shooting and suspect information remain under investigation, police added.
