Officers were looking for a suspect whose vehicle collided with another after a chase in Fresno on Friday.
Fresno police said the chase ended around midnight at Fruit and McKinley avenues when the vehicles crashed.
Police said two people inside the vehicle that was hit were taken to the hospital in stable condition.
Officers were looking for the suspect, who fled into a nearby neighborhood.
Police said the man was charged with felony evading and felony hit-and-run, as well as several vehicle code infractions.
