The Montana State men’s basketball team defeated Sacramento State 82-61 on Saturday.

The Bobcats dominated Mike Bibby’s Hornets on the glass, outrebounding Sac. St. 50 to 21.

The Bobcats were led by Seth Amunrud with 21 points and 10 rebounds. The Bozeman native got the start in place of the injured Pat McMahon.

Jed Miller added 18 points, 9 rebounds, 6 assists and cashed in on four 3-pointers.

Junior guard Jeremiah Davis had 16 points, 9 rebounds, 3 assists, 2 blocks and a steal for the Cats.

MSU is now 11-6 in Big Sky action and 17-13 overall. They will close out their regular season on Monday at Northern Arizona (4-13, 10-20).

The Bobcats remain the No. 2 seed but have a chance to secure the No. 1 seed going into Boise if they beat NAU and Portland State loses to Weber State (9-7, 15-14) on Monday.
