(FOX40.COM) — The man who was shot and killed in South Natomas last month has been identified by the Sacramento County Coroner’s Office as Teon Darmone Lott, 32, of Sacramento.

According to the Sacramento Police Department, on Friday, 27-year-old Ray Howard was arrested on homicide and firearm-related charges.

Sacramento police said Howard has since been booked into the Sacramento County Main Jail.

On Feb. 20, Sacramento police had responded to reports of a shooting at 9 p.m. on the 1500 block of West El Camino Avenue, where they found Lott injured from a gunshot wound.

SPD reported that Lott was taken to a local hospital, where he later died from his injuries.

At this time, police have not released information on what led to the shooting.
