Boyle Heights/Silver Lake—The City Council considers authorizing up to $70 million in bonds to finance the acquisition or development of three projects for homeless persons, including a 96-bed facility at 3455 Percy St. for people with mental illness, and the construction of a behavioral health facility at 1891 Eddie St. Agenda, Item 17
Boyle Heights—The City Council considers a $50,000 reward in connection with the Aug. 11, 2024, murder of 22-year-old Ruben Vergara, who was shot multiple times near Evergreen Boulevard and Folsom Street. Agenda, Item 23
Eagle Rock—The Neighborhood Council gets a presentation from the Eagle Rock Historical Society about hosting a 100th anniversary event for Route 66, and discusses a new speed camera safety system in Los Angeles. Agenda

Boyle Heights—The City Council Housing & Homelessness Committee considers issuing a $2.5 million “supplemental tax-exempt multifamily housing revenue note” for the development of the La Guadalupe project, which would create 44 units at 1800 E. First St. Agenda, Item 4
Lincoln Heights/Boyle Heights—The Bureau of Public Works considers agreements to install 120 Level 2 electric vehicle chargers across 70 locations. Agenda, Item 5
