Ahead of the Oscars, Oakland native and filmmaker Ryan Coogler already is having quite the award season.
Coogler’s film, “Sinners,” took home the SAG Award on Sunday night for Best Movie Ensemble.
The star of the film, Michael B. Jordan, also picked up a win for Best Actor in a Movie.
Another big winner includes Jessie Buckley, who won Best Actress in a Movie for her role in “Hamnet.”
“The Pitt” won the Best TV Drama Ensemble category, and “The Studio” also won the Best TV Comedy Ensemble category.
