FRESNO, Calif. – Sophomore Ariya Soldwisch is in the top 10, while the CSUN Women’s Golf team is tied for third after two rounds of the Fresno State Classic on Monday at Fort Washington Country Club.

After opening Monday with a 6-over 78, Soldwisch shot a blistering 2-under 70 in round two, which included six birdies. She is currently tied for 10th at 4-over 148.

CSUN opened Monday with a team round of 23-over 311 before bouncing back with an even-par 288 in round two. Pepperdine (-4, 572) leads the team competition, while the Waves’ Yingzhi Zhu leads the individual competition at 4-under 140.

Following Soldwisch, Lily McGowan, competing as an individual, is tied for 12th at 5-over 149 following rounds of 73-76.
Senior Kim Turgut and junior Nicole Tanoue are both tied for 14th at 6-over 150. Turgut carded rounds of 76-74, while Tanoue finished at 79-71.
Senior Gracie Piar is tied for 21st at 8-over 152 following rounds of 79-73.
Meghan Paracuelles is tied for 29th at 10-over 154 following rounds of 87-76.
