FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — A 70-year-old man was killed after being hit by a car on Tuesday.

Fresno Police responded to a call of a man being hit by a car in the area of Ashlan Avenue and First Street.

When they arrived, they found a 70-year-old man down in the road.

Despite life-saving measures, the man died at the scene.

The driver was cooperative with the police.
