BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — The Bakersfield Police Department is asking for the community’s help in identifying a man accused of stealing a bicycle from a backyard.
Police said on Wednesday, January 14th, 2026, at around 5:20 a.m., a man allegedly entered the rear yard of a residence in the 3100 block of 16th Street from the alley.
The suspect then removed a bicycle from the rear yard of the residence before leaving the area through the alley.
The suspect is described as a man in his 20’s, wearing a backwards baseball cap, sunglasses, a black hooded sweatshirt, and blue jeans.
