A lucky Cache Creek Casino Resort gambler near Sacramento hit an “extraordinary” slot machine jackpot on a $10 bet, officials said.

The San Jose player was playing a $2 “Dragon Link” machine at the casino and hit the $235,766 jackpot Sunday, the casino said in a news release Tuesday.

“This extraordinary jackpot is a thrilling reminder of the excitement our guests experience every day,” said Kari Stout-Smith, general manager and COO of Cache Creek Casino Resort.

Another player won a $100,0000 jackpot on a $20 slot machine bet at the casino, officials reported Sunday.

Cache Creek Casino Resort, owned by the Yocha Dehe Wintun Nation, is about 40 miles northwest of Sacramento, near Esparto. The casino, opened in 2004, features more than 2,700 slot machines and 120 table games.
