FRESNO COUNTY, Calif. (KFSN) — A home has been destroyed following a fire in Fresno County.
It broke out after 2:30 am Wednesday in the area of Central Avenue near Rio Vista — that’s southeast of Sanger.
Crews arrived and found heavy smoke and fire from the roof.
They soon went into defensive mode and took on the blaze from the outside.
Two engines and a water tender were at the scene.
The house is believed to be vacant.
They also say the power lines supply to the home came down at one point. PG&E was called in to help.
No roads were closed while crews worked to put out the fire.
The cause is under investigation.
