FRESNO, Calif. (FOX26) — The Spring Fresno Home & Garden Show will mark its 40th year with a three-day event March 6, 7, and 8 at the Fresno Fairgrounds, bringing together hundreds of vendors and attractions focused on home improvement, design, and gardening.

Organizers say the show will feature more than 400 vendors, along with shopping, hands-on gardening workshops, local artisans and makers, tiny home tours, and food, drinks and live music.

A free Make & Take Plant Bar is planned, where attendees can learn from local gardening experts during hands-on workshops and take home a free gardening project.

Workshop projects include succulent bowls and cut flower bouquets. The workshops are first-come, first-served, and are expected to fill up quickly.

The event also includes the second annual Central Valley Art of Landscape Competition, featuring landscape displays by licensed landscapers.

Homeowners looking for renovation help can meet kitchen and bath remodelers and home exterior contractors at the show. Attendees are encouraged to bring blueprints, drawings and ideas to discuss with licensed contractors in one location.

Other featured areas include the Garden Pavilion, which will include flower shows, garden and home decor companies, Master Gardeners and garden societies; and the Tiny House Village, showcasing a variety of tiny houses and their builders.

Food and drink options include the Cocktail Corner with Pardini’s full-service bar serving margaritas, cocktails, beer and wine, as well as fair food and food trucks.

Shopping areas include the Marketplace, with handmade items from local artisans and crafters and home and garden decor, and the Place of Taste, described as the Central Valley’s largest gathering of gourmet food companies. Organizers say the Place of Taste will include 42 gourmet vendors in Building 6 and throughout the show, with samples ranging from baked goods to dips and hot sauce.

A Pet Center is also planned, with pet experts, accessories and services, and pet adoptions throughout the weekend.
