A fire in a basement at a boarded up home in Westlake was knocked down Friday by 46 firefighters from the Los Angeles Fire Department.
Fire crews were called at approximately 2:46 a.m. Friday to 150 S. Mountain View Ave. and Beverly Boulevard, where they took control of the fire, said LAFD spokeswoman Margaret Stewart.
It took 29 minutes to extinguish the flames and no injuries were reported.
