Re “Trump’s attempt to rewrite nation’s history is Orwellian” (Feb. 27): I noticed the letter writer did not remind us of the tearing down of statues and the renaming of military installations and even high schools that occurred in the past few years. If memory serves, these changes were driven entirely by Democratic leaders at the federal, state and local level. Weren’t they rewriting history as well?
Seems like that was conveniently left out by the letter writer. We simply can’t accept that what we read in letters is entirely true since some are politically motivated. I hope other readers realize this and are not misled.
