The First Thursdays event on March 5 at the Del Mar Civic Center was a delightful night of classical music performed by Hausmann Quartet, faculty Artists in Residence at San Diego State University where they teach and organize the chamber music program, engage in interdisciplinary collaborations, and visit local schools for concerts and clinics on behalf of the School of Music and Dance. They played pieces from Beethoven (1801) to modern classical pieces by Jessica Meyer (2021) to Morton Feldman (1951) to Kinan Azmeh (2025), a news release stated.
