BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — Sister Strong is a local organization dedicated to inspiring and supporting women in Kern County.
They have multiple events coming up to bring women together and support those in need.
They are hosting a drive thru food pantry giveaway on March 7 at 4700 Easton Drive.
The event starts at 11 a.m. and hopes to support families in the Bakersfield community.

Sister Strong is also hosting a Women’s Healing Brunch on March 14 at 1660 S Street.
The brunch supports women going through grief and helps build connections in the community.
