BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Caltrans announced a daytime ramp closure on eastbound Highway 58 at Mount Vernon Avenue on Thursday, March 5, for guardrail repair construction.
The eastbound Highway 58 off-ramp at Mount Vernon Avenue will be closed from 9:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
Closures may continue for longer periods of time, if necessary, due to weather delays or uncontrollable events that may happen.
Caltrans reminds drivers to stay alert and avoid distractions while driving. They should be aware of workers and vehicles in construction and maintenance areas, and remember to slow down in these areas.
