LAS VEGAS (UNLVRebels.com) – The UNLV Lady Rebels are ready to compete in the Mountain West Championships and will play on Sunday, March 8 after clinching the No. 2 seed in the tournament and earning a first-round bye for the fifth consecutive year. The Scarlet & Gray will play the winner of No. 7 Fresno State versus No. 10 UNR on Sunday, March 8 at 5 p.m. PT at the Thomas & Mack Center.

REGULAR SEASON FINALE: The UNLV Lady Rebels secured the No. 2 seed in the Mountain West tournament after a dominant 76-47 victory over Boise State on Wednesday evening at The Pavilion. Shelbee Brown dropped a season-high 22 points to lead UNLV and had a team-high 16 rebounds, for her ninth double-double of the season. Meadow Roland was the second-leading scorer with 15 points, while Sydni Summers collected a season-high of 14 points. Summers led the squad in three-pointers, shooting 4-for-9 from long range.
 
ALL-MOUNTAIN WEST ACCOLADES: Meadow Roland and Shelbee Brown have been recognized on the Mountain West All-MW postseason awards list, the league office announced Saturday. Redshirt sophomore Meadow Roland picked up All-Mountain West first team and All-Defensive team and graduate student forward Shelbee Brown collected All-MW honorable mention and an All-Defensive team nod.
 
SQUAD LEADERS: Meadow Roland leads the Scarlet & Gray in points per game, averaging 15.0 and in made field goals with 5.8 per game; Roland is tied for the lead in rebounds bringing down 9.7 boards per game. Jasmyn Lott is second on the team with 12.5 points per game. Aaliyah Alexander leads the Lady Rebels in assists per game with 3.3. Alexander is third on the squad with 11.3 points per game. Shelbee Brown is tied for the team-lead in rebounds with 9.7 per game and is fourth in points per game with 10.7.
 
WHAT UP SQUAD? The Lady Rebels return five of the 13 players from their 2025 championship team, including starter Aaliyah Alexander and Mountain West Sixth and Freshman of the Year Meadow Roland. UNLV welcomes nine new players, which includes graduate students Shelbee Brown and Destiny Leo, seniors Destiny Brown and Mariah Elohim, juniors Ongolea Afu and Sydni Summers and freshmen Trystan James, Hodaya Kabada and Alexis Swillis.
