A man was killed Saturday in a Long Beach crash that is being investigated as a homicide.

Long Beach Police Department officers were dispatched at about 1:50 p.m. Saturday to a dispute in the 600 block of Wardlow Road, according to a LBPD statement.

They found that “a collision had occurred,” police said. The officers immediately began efforts to save the victim’s life, but he was pronounced dead at the scene.

Another man was arrested as a suspect in the death, police said. There were no details about the nature of the crash, nor about the suspect’s identity.
