Gaston from Beauty and the Beast’s new beverage, the Gaston Brew, is a butterscotch drink topped with dulce de leche, debuting for a limited time at Red Rose Taverne inside Disneyland.

According to some fans, the $7.79 brew has similar flavor notes to the Wizarding World’s Butterbeer, which was first introduced in Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban.

The drink is available only during the park’s two “70 Years of Favorites Nites” on March 3 and March 5.

Harry Potter and Beauty and the Beast fans alike will have something to bond over — and no, it’s not just magic and spells!

Fans are comparing the beloved butterbeer from the Harry Potter franchise, which park goers can get a real-life taste of inside Universal theme parks, has quite a bit in common with a beverage bearing the name of the ever-contentious Gaston from Beauty and the Beast.

The OC Register’s theme park reporter Brady Macdonald pointed out the similarity, noting that “Disneyland’s Gaston Brew was a bit more carbonated than Universal’s Butterbeer — but otherwise they tasted the same.”

Butterbeer was first introduced to Harry Potter fans in the third book of the series, Harry Potter and the Prisoner of Azkaban during a scene when Harry, Hermione and Ron visit The Three Broomsticks pub in Hogsmeade Village. It’s available to try in real life at Universal theme parks around the world, including the Wizarding World lands in California and Florida. Universal describes butterbeer as a “sweet drink reminiscent of shortbread and butterscotch.”
