Two San Diego parents have been found guilty of second degree murder for the starvation death of their infant in 2021.
Prosecutors say their 3-month-old, named Delilah, weighed just under 4 pounds at the time of her death.
Jurors were shown police body camera video, which showed the limp body of the child inside a filthy apartment in City Heights.
Crime scene photos revealed piles of trash, spoiled food and animal feces throughout the apartment. Each defendant had their own jury, which independently decided each of their fates.
Brandon Copeland and Elizabeth Ucman have been jailed since late 2021. Sentencing is expected in April.
