Saw on Smellavision the other day a story about a Memphis reporter working for the Tri State Defender named Dalisia Ballinger who posted thanks to Trump for sending help to Memphis. She said it was the first time in five years of living in her middle class neighborhood that her 11-year-old son and other kids were outside playing instead of remaining indoors due to crime threats. She also stated it was the first time she sat on her front porch for the same reason he son remained indoors.
The thanks to Trump was posted on TikTok and two days later she received a letter from her employer to take it down and if she didn’t she would be fired. She didn’t remove the post and was terminated.
I was wondering if Prop 50 passes and Sacramento takes over Nevada County, could the Democrats tell The Union to discontinue publishing remarks in the paper favoring Trump? So far, both sides have been able to be published.
