A dog is missing after running away following an incident involving an injured hiker in Sierra Madre.
On Saturday evening, Sierra Madre Search and Rescue posted on social media that earlier in the day, they responded to a rescue along the Mount Wilson Trail. During the incident, the hiker’s dog, Mitsy, ran away.
Mitsy is described as an “older” black miniature Doberman pinscher wearing an orange vest.

Sierra Madre Search and Rescue advised anyone who may be hiking the trail to keep an eye out with Mitsy.
