BATON ROUGE – LSU Baseball fell to Sacramento State 6-1 in game three of the weekend series at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field.
LSU falls to 12-5 overall and Sacramento State advances to 5-10 overall.
The Tigers will be back at Alex Box Stadium, Skip Bertman Field on Tuesday for a mid-week matchup as they play host to the Creighton Blue Jays from Omaha. The game will be streamed on SECN+ and available on the LSU Sports Radio Network.
Carson Timothy was the winning pitcher for the Hornets, going six and two thirds, allowing just five hits and striking out four and giving up one unearned run. William Schmidt was losing pitcher for the Tigers, going five and two thirds, allowing four runs, three earned, to go with eight strikeouts.
