SAN FRANCISCO, Calif. – The University of San Francisco baseball team (7-7) fell to UMass Lowell (3-6) 6-4 Sunday afternoon at Benedetti Diamond.

IN CASE YOU MISSED IT:
San Francisco scored to open a 2-0 early lead in the bottom of the second as Isaiah Landry tripled to right field, scoring Jared Lewis and Zack Ramppen.
After UMass Lowell gained a 3-2 advantage, the green and gold regained the lead at 4-3 in the sixth on Lewis’ two-run infield single, plating Jackson Nystrom and Trevor Harmon.
The River Hawks scored three times in the top of the seventh inning to go ahead 6-4 and kept the Dons scoreless in the final two frames to secure the victory.Â
NOTABLE PERFORMANCES:
Quentin Pohorski earned his first-career start and threw four innings, giving up two runs on two hits, with three walks and four strikeouts.
Landry and Lewis paced the Dons at the plate, with Landry going one-for-four with a triple and two RBI. Lewis also tallied a two-RBI performance while recording a hit and scoring a run.
Despite the loss, San Francisco outhit UMass Lowell 9-8. Seven players record a base hit for the green and gold, while TJ Rogers and Ramppen registered multi-hit performances.
