SAN FRANCISCO — Charges have been filed against a San Francisco man accused of an unprovoked stabbing in Chinatown last week, the District Attorney’s Office said Monday.
Jian Feng Huang, 37, is charged with attempted murder after he allegedly went up to a person by Stockton and Sacramento streets on Thursday just after 1 p.m. and stabbed them in the back. The victim lay on the ground bleeding as Huang allegedly walked away. The victim was treated for life-threatening injuries, according to police.
Prosecutors said surveillance footage captured near the scene corroborates witness’ statements and allegedly shows Huang stabbing the person in the back without any provocation.
