Hilton Anaheim said it has appointed Konstantine “Gus” Drosos as its new general manager, as of February.

Drosos succeeds Sergio Bocci, who was named the new general manager of the Conrad Punta de Mita hotel in Mexico last December, according to reports.

Drosos counts a nearly 30-year career with Hilton, starting in finance then later working in hotel management at properties in Chicago and across California from San Diego to Eureka. He most previously oversaw Palmer House, a Hilton Hotel as GM in Chicago.

The Hilton Anaheim, Orange County’s largest hotel with 1,572 rooms, last year wrapped up a full-property renovation.

“With its scale, location, and talented team, the opportunity here is significant,” Drosos said in a statement. “I’ve spent my career in large convention hotels where you’re operating at full speed every day, so precision, culture, and commercial discipline all matter equally.”
