NORTH HIGHLANDS, Calif. — A man was hospitalized after a reported shooting in North Highlands, according to the Sacramento County Sheriff’s Office.
Before 8 p.m., deputies received a call about a person who was possibly shot in the 7100 block of Watt Avenue near Turner Avenue.
When deputies arrived, they found a 46-year-old man with a single gunshot wound to the chest. The man was taken to the hospital where he is currently in stable condition.
He refused to provide any additional details to investigators.
Deputies were unable to locate the possible shooting scene and are canvassing the area.
