The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency served search warrants at a West Los Angeles business Wednesday morning, but the agency released no details about what agents were looking for.

Los Angeles Police Department personnel were dispatched to a business in the area of Cotner and Tennessee avenues, near the San Diego (405) Freeway, to assist the federal agents at about 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, an officer said.

DEA Public Affairs Specialist Rosa Valle-Lopez issued a statement that acknowledged the raid but offered no details.

“On Wednesday morning, personnel from the DEA Los Angeles Field Division’s Special Response Team participated in a drug enforcement investigation in the West Los Angeles area,” she said. “No additional information is available at this time.”

At one point, a law enforcement helicopter was seen circling over the location.
