A 10-month-old is critically injured after a car rolled over twice on Interstate 5 in Sacramento.

SACRAMENTO, Calif. — A 10-month-old baby is in critical condition after a rollover crash on Interstate 5 in Sacramento, according to the California Highway Patrol.

Officials said a vehicle was traveling northbound on I-5 on the West El Camino Avenue off-ramp when the crash happened. The car rolled over twice after a possible non-contact hit-and-run, officials added.

A mom, dad and minor were not wearing their seatbelts and the baby inside the vehicle was in a car seat and was only half restrained, CHP said.

The baby had major head trauma and is in critical condition, CHP said. Conditions for the other occupants are unknown.
