A former Walmart worker advanced most of a proposed class action alleging the superstore ran afoul of California wage laws and can try again on the claims that failed.

The worker provided enough detail to get six of the eight claims—including allegations of unpaid overtime and minimum wages—to the next stage of litigation, the US District Court for the Central District of California said. The complaint didn’t sufficiently allege violations of California law on rest break premiums and unfair competition, but those dismissals are without prejudice, the Thursday order said.
