BAKERSFIELD, Calif. (KBAK/KBFX) — A pursuit was underway through Kern County to Tulare County on Highway 99 Thursday morning.
The Kern County Sheriff’s Office said that at around 8:51 a.m., there was a traffic violation with a vehicle. KCSO said the vehicle was not yielding on northbound Highway 99 approaching Houghton Road.
CHP units took over the pursuit on Highway 99 and Buck Owens Boulevard.

CHP Bakersfield continued the pursuit until County Line Road in Delano. From there, CHP Visalia took over.
