On March 17, Safe Harbor Coronado will host its annual Drug Prevention Program for Coronado’s 6th grade students at Coronado Middle School, and we are reaching out to the community for a few more volunteers to help make this important day possible.

This interactive program brings together community leaders, parents, educators, high school students, and local professionals to help our youth learn about the realities of substance use, the impact of vaping, peer pressure, and healthy decision-making. Students rotate through engaging stations and scenarios designed to give them practical tools and confidence as they navigate the transition into middle school.

It truly takes a village to put on this impactful event. Volunteers help guide student groups, support activity stations, assist with logistics, and create a welcoming environment that helps students feel comfortable asking questions and learning.

If you have a few hours to give on the morning of Tuesday, March 17, we would love to have you join us. Those interested in volunteering can register at www.safeharborcoronado.org, select Drug Prevention, and complete the volunteer sign-up form.

Together, we can continue building a strong, supportive community for our youth.

With gratitude,
