If you were to perform a search inquiring how many times “Knott’s” and “boysenberry” appeared in the same sentence, article, or photograph, you’d walk away with a very, very large number in your head.
For the boysenberry and Knott’s Berry Farm have been synonymous for decades, and by “decades” we do mean this luscious, legendary, and longstanding relationship will mark its 100th anniversary in just a few years.
But the Buena Park theme park doesn’t wait for the milestones to honor its best-known berry and the succulent symbol that instantly says “Knott’s” to numerous fans: There is the Knott’s Boysenberry Festival each late winter and early springtime, a month-long eat-around extravaganza featuring dozens of boysenberry-inspired dishes.
And by “dozens” we do mean over 100, at least on the 2026 line-up.
The festival kicked off March 13, it will wrap April 12, and you’ll need to cover theme park admission to reach the stands, booths, and restaurants serving up Boysenberry & Pineapple Upside Down Cake, a Double Stuffed Baked Potato with Boysenberry BBQ Brisket, and a Boysenberry Bear Claw.
Other purple-perfect pastimes crop up during the festival, including a craft fair, live tunes, and more. So be sure to seek out the entertainment side of the boysen-buoyant bash before, during, or after you chow down.
