FRESNO, Calif (FOX26) — Fresno firefighters responded to a house fire in the 700 block of C Street after multiple 911 calls reported heavy smoke and flames Friday morning.
Crews arrived around 8:30 a.m. to find a vacant, boarded-up home, fully engulfed.
They also found that power lines were impacted, and a portion of the roof had collapsed.
Firefighters took a defensive stance, fighting the fire from the exterior.
No injuries were reported, and damage to a neighboring home was prevented.
A total of 29 firefighters were on the scene.
The home is considered a total loss, and the cause of the fire is under investigation.
