BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Deputies are searching for 16-year-old Mackenzie Meadows, last seen near Airport and Olive drives on Thursday, March 12. She was known to be with Sara Current, 16, who also went missing last month.
Meadows was last seen at around 9:24 p.m., wearing a red hooded sweatshirt, black shorts, and black and white Nike shoes.
She is described as 5’9″ tall, 150 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
Meadows was said to be accompanied by Sara Current, 16, another girl who reportedly went missing on Feb. 5, 2026.

Current is described as 5’1″ tall, 150 pounds, with blue eyes and blue or black hair. Current was captured in pink pants in KCSO’s photo.
KCSO said the girls were possibly headed to the east Bakersfield area.
