BAKERSFIELD, Calif.(KBAK/KBFX) — Bakersfield police and other agencies spent Friday practicing at The Park at River Walk ahead of the department’s third annual Motorcycle Riding Skills Competition, which is expected to draw dozens of law enforcement departments from around the state.

The competition begins at 8 a.m. Saturday at The Park at River Walk. The event is free for the public to attend and watch.

The parking lot at The Park at River Walk is closed to the public during the event, but the park will remain open.
