A person died following a hit-and-run crash in San Jose on Saturday, according to police.
The police department said the crash took place in the area of W Hedding Street and Coleman Avenue at around 2:30 a.m. Authorities reported the pedestrian was pronounced dead at the scene, and the vehicle involved drove away.
Authorities said this incident prompted road closures for several hours.
