A man was recently arrested for several counts of child sexual assault material after officials executed a search in his Davis home in December, according to the Yolo County Sheriff.
According to a social media alert from the Yolo County Sheriff, at the end of 2025, detectives with the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office and the West Sacramento Police Department served a search warrant at a residence in the 27000 block of Mace Boulevard in the city of Davis.
The investigation began after the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children (NCMEC) forwarded several cyber tips to Yolo County detectives regarding suspected child sexual abuse material associated with an online account. This is commonly referred to as CSAM.
During the investigation, detectives identified the suspect as 59-year-old Davis resident, Andrew James Hardardt.
Detectives also learned that Hardardt operates a massage therapy business known as AH! Massage in Sacramento. The investigation also revealed that Hardardt provides both mobile and in-home massage therapy.
According to the post, the search warrant was executed early Friday morning at both Hardardt’s residence in Davis and his business in Sacramento. He was located and arrested in his home without incident for possession of Child Pornography and possession of 600 Images or more of Child Pornography.
Since the arrest and initial judiciary process, detectives have ensured Hardardt’s massage therapy certification has since been suspended.
Due to Hardardt’s occupation as a licensed massage therapist who has provided services to members of the public, detectives believe that there may be additional victims or witnesses who have not yet come forward.
Anyone who may have had inappropriate contact with Hardardt or who may have information relevant to this investigation is encouraged to contact the Yolo County Sheriff’s Office.
