The Friends of the Carmel Valley Library will present Harold Reeves, violinist, and Justine Tiu, harpist, at a concert on Tuesday, March 24, at 6:30 p.m.

Reeves, a San Diego native and founding member of the San Diego Music Group, has performed alongside members of the celebrated Emerson Quartet. Tiu, a Southern California harpist who has graced stages from Seattle to Savannah, recently served as Visiting Principal Harp of the Tallahassee Symphony Orchestra.

Together they will perform a program as varied as it is beautiful, drawing on the genius of Debussy, Bach, Saint-Saëns, Paganini, and Piazzolla — a sweeping arc from Baroque elegance to Argentine passion, with a few surprises along the way, according to a news release.

The concert takes place at the Carmel Valley Library, 3919 Townsgate Drive. This one-hour program is free and open to the public. Donations are gratefully accepted to support future cultural events, the news release stated.
