The U.S. Drug Enforcement Agency Saturday provided further information about search warrant served at a West Los Angeles business this week.

Los Angeles Police Department personnel were dispatched to a business in the 11100 block of Tennessee Avenue, near the intersection of Sepulveda and Olympic boulevards, to assist federal agents about 8:15 a.m. Wednesday, an officer said.

DEA Public Affairs Specialist Rosa Valle-Lopez issued a statement Saturday saying the search warrant was in connection with an ongoing investigation in partnership with the Torrance Police Department.

“As a result of the operation, investigators seized approximately $300,000 in US currency,” Valle-Lopez said. “Additionally, members of California Cannabis placed an embargo on all the marijuana and vape pens at this location, which immediately prohibits the sale, transfer, distribution or destruction of the products, halting revenue while the investigation proceeds.”

Details about the investigation were not available.
